发帖数: 825 | 1 Yesterday afternoon, I was waiting for my husband to get off work at his
company while checking on the Facebook, noticed the city reported a fire in
the Cove (our neighbor subdivision). Called husband and grabbed the kids
from daycare immediately to go home. At first, I only thought the traffic
was going tone bad, later found out the situation was much worse than we
thought. Long way to get home....
If you heard radio saying there were cars trying to get through the streets
and blocked emergency vehicles, we may be part of it. If you heard that
there are people on their feet to walk throught the blocked streets, we were
part of it. We had to park the car at church parking lot and walked two
miles to get home carrying two kids and only found out our house is in the
mandatory evacuation zone....
If you heard some people got handcuffed on the ground....NO, we are not part
of it. But we did see the whole episode. It was so intense. At one point, I
thought somebody will get shot.....lit was a chaos
