发帖数: 313 | 1 没有专门的administrator管理这个unix alpha station 500. 平时就我们自己倒腾。。
起先，我们想加一个scsi hard-disk 给这个unix 机器，所以我们想
shutdown -h now...
但机器不shutdown, 然后我们就 power off the machine.
然后我们把这个scsi硬盘连到这个机器上， 这个机器死活不启动了。
当进入启动阶段后， 机器显示：
......
initializing page table at 12e000
initializing machine state
setting affinity to primary cpu
jumping to bootstrap code
halted cpu 0
halt code =2
kernel stack not valid halt
PC =0
...........
不能继续下去
哪为高手给指点一下， 我们很多重要的东西在那个上面呀， 包括我所有的email..... |

to do it for you ba. Otherwise, your work and time wasted can cost
more.

The Engineering from Compaq can not come until tomorrow.....

发帖数: 40 | 4 Mose unix version (Sys V or BSD) have a single user or mini root option when
rebooting the machine, If you system is totally down,the most effective
method is to use the installation cd to boot it into single user/mini root mode.
