Information Management Researcher Position at IBM Research China
Position title: Research Staff Member - Information Management
Job type: Full-time Regular
Job role: Research Scientist
Work location: Beijing, China
Job description:
IBM Research China is seeking exceptional scientists and researchers to
conduct basic and applied research in computer science. We invite candidates
with an excellent research track record in any of the following areas:
database, data integration, semantic web, knowledge management, and
distributed system. The aim is to advance the state of the art research on
large-scale information management systems (e.g., cloud databases for
heterogeneous data models) and large information-centered service platforms
(e.g., knowledge service platforms). It is involved in the full spectrum of
research in the industry, from the creation of science to the invention and
development of new technologies to the building of end-to-end solutions for
information management systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's Degree in Computer Science, PhD is preferred;
* Experience in information management research;
* Deep knowledge on relational database technologies and/or NoSQL
technologies
* Good publication records in top conferences and journals
* Experience with Hadoop ecosystem is a plus
