Scott is a liberal or moderate Republican.[44] As a candidate and Governor,
he is known to "embrace moderate and sometimes even liberal policies";[45]
his views can be described as "fiscally conservative but socially liberal".[

conservative. But not unlike most Republicans in the Northeast, I'm

election, Scott announced that he had voted for Democratic nominee Joe Biden
