“在中国不再有汤姆斯。今天,它是地球上最艰难,最艰难,最令人恐惧的国家之一,
这是对白人。因为那里没有汤姆斯叔叔。”
"No more Toms in China. And today it's one of the toughest, roughest, most
feared countries on this earth -- by the white man. Because there are no
Uncle Toms over there."

economic juggernaut it is today, ultimately challenging American hegemony
all around the world
The Chinese Revolution -- they wanted land. They threw the British out,
along with the Uncle Tom Chinese. Yes, they did. They set a good example.
When I was in prison, I read an article -- don't be shocked when I say that
I was in prison. You're still in prison. That's what America means: prison.
When I was in prison, I read an article in Life magazine showing a little
Chinese girl, nine years old, her father was on his hands and knees and she
was pulling the trigger because he was an Uncle Tom Chinaman. When they had
the revolution over there, they took a whole generation of Uncle Toms and
just wiped them out. And within ten years that little girl became a full-
grown woman. No more Toms in China. And today it's one of the toughest,
roughest, most feared countries on this earth -- by the white man. Because
there are no Uncle Toms over there.

from this world (like most insightful people are).
Still, the PRC is in a stronger position today than it was in the era of Mao
. Mao re-established Chinese sovereignty and made it strong enough where
foreigners couldn't invade anymore (like they had done to the Qing and
Republican China). By Mao's death, China had been able to defend its borders
(in Korea against the USA, and in Manchuria against the Soviets), gained
nuclear weapons, and got a seat on the UNSC. Deng (who I think is incredibly
underrated) made policies that would make China wealthy and powerful, and
successfully led the country through the turbulence of the Soviet collapse.
Has the revolutionary zeal weakened? Yeah, of course. But better to be
cunning and powerful than to be ideologically pure, as so long as your
fundamental principals are not compromised. Plus, the Chinese sentiment
against the West has soured in recent years, with the Trump trade war and
rising geopolitical tensions. | b*********5 发帖数: 1 | 4 It's more compromised. China was like North Korea. Now China is more like
South Korea.
Whether that's a good thing or bad thing you decide. On one hand wealth,
economy and standard of living. On the other hand much more Uncle Tom
Chinese.
But i do love this statement by Malcolm X. In one swoop it explains why
there are many cases of Channery in places like Hong Kong, Taiwan, and
