U.S. unemployment falls to 4.9% before election

U.S. jobs continued to rise at a steady pace in October and wage gains
accelerated, signs that the labor market and economy made steady progress at
the start of the fourth quarter.
Payrolls climbed by 161,000 last month following a 191,000 gain in September
that was larger than previously estimated, a Labor Department report showed
Friday. The median forecast in a Bloomberg survey called for 173,000. The
jobless rate fell to 4.9 percent, while wages rose from a year earlier by
the most since June 2009.

Too bad obama's government has lied to the American people so much over the
past 8 years you can understandably approach any report coming out of
Washington with suspect as mostly lies!

Want to see my surprised face? Of course the last report was going to be '
good'. That's the way our corrupt government rolls. They want to maintain
the status quo, ie keep all the minions in place who have given us the worst
economy in 50 yrs. If the FED were not propping things up with low rates
and buying just about anything they can get their hands on, we would be in
the toilet

It was horrible - there were 160,000 jobs created and 200,000 people added
to the economy. That means the 40,000 are automatically out of work and on
the public expense sheet.
Yahoo is so liberal it is embarrassing.

Of course the report would favor her it's the last one before the election.
ALl kinds of statistical adjustments are made to it life death adjustments
etc and
the actual number was probably set by Podesta.

Mrs. Clinton is a criminal and will never be a legitimate US President, even
if elected. She should be impeached and removed prior to inauguration.

the employment report was rosy the month before the election when Obama won
his second term. after obama was re-elected the true numbers came out and
they were a disaster. when you control the numbers you can make them say
what ever you want but sooner or later the truth comes out.

When reading other readers reaction to this report I am truly amazed that so
many people are either so ignorant or so lacking in basic trust. These
folks all believed the numbers under every other administration, but
suddenly the numbers are fake. Get real people, these are numbers reported
by unbiased people that are doing their jobs in OUR government. I understand
that a significant number of our fellow citizens cannot tolerate the
thought of anyone other than a white male being President, but it is time to
get over it and move forward, as have most other civilized countries.
