A few thoughts now on the essential choice Americans have to make in this
election, now just 4-weeks away.
Donald Trump today slammed the Democratic nominee as unfit for the office,
but also declared Republican leaders as "far more difficult" than Clinton
because of their weakness and their disloyalty to GOP voters and the nominee
.
Some 67% of GOP voters said Republican candidates for Congress should back
Trump before Sunday's debate...
That number rose to 74% after the debate, according to a new Wall Street
Journal/NBC news poll.
Yet, Speaker Ryan and dozens of GOP lawmakers are at war with Republican
voters and are now openly working against those voters and Donald Trump.
Ryan in particular seems to be in the death grip of morbid envy and childish
petulance toward his party's presidential nominee, supporters and voters.
The latest Fox News polls show 70% of Trump backers strongly support him,
compared to 57% for Clinton.
In my opinion, Trump is the leader to turn this country around, to restore
prosperity, to build a better future for all Americans. The GOP
establishment is scared to death that Trump's election would mean the end of
their status quo. And they're right.
Sadly, the interests of the elites don't align with the nation's or those of
the rank and file GOP. Trump is on the right side of history in this
election, and voters should ensure that the elites become history on Nov. 8.
Four weeks til Election Day. A party well led and united will win the White
House. Will the GOP elites wise up in time? |
