President Obama got quite the welcome in Oklahoma, as he was greeted by a
group of protesters proudly waving Confederate flags, a move sure to make
liberals get a raging case of diarrhea of the mouth all over the blogosphere.
What’s really going to chap the president’s rear raw about the whole thing
is the group also has several black members.
Then again, progressives will go on to slam those folks for not really being
black, since all black folk are supposed to be big government liberals who
can’t think for themselves, which of course is totally bogus.
Yep, I just went full 80s on you.

President Barack Obama was greeted at his hotel in Oklahoma City
Wednesday night by protesters proudly displaying Confederate flags.
The protest was organized by Andrew Duncomb, who calls himself “the
Black Rebel,” KFOR-TV reported.
“We don’t believe it’s a symbol of racism,” he told the news station.
“They’re blaming the racist problems on the flag and not on the real
problems of America. Through the race lies the people who carry and harbor
the hate inside,” Duncomb added.
Several other black individuals participated in the demonstration.
Don’t you just love it when people freely and openly exercise their First
Amendment rights and give the president grief while doing so?
Part of what makes America so awesome is the fact that I can support these
individuals exercising their rights, without necessarily agreeing with their
message. I’m not a big fan of the Confederate flag, but I certainly don’t
assume every person who waves one is racist, and I definitely don’t
support silencing someone’s expression by displaying the flag either.
Also, these protesters are spot on in recognizing that removing the flag and
shaming folks who fly it isn’t going to end racism or solve any race
related problems in America. In fact, it might just make things worse in
some cases, which kind of defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?
It’s likely Obama threw a hissy fit later wondering why those outside the
hotel didn’t fall to their knees in adoration and worship when he walked by
, since all he cares about is being constantly reaffirmed as a special
little snowflake. | r***x
