Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin said that President
Obama’s promised “fundamental transformation” of the nation is “
destroying the foundations of America.”
Obama waited until the last two years of his presidency to forge a legacy on
race relations and the environment, Levin said on his June 22 broadcast. “
And what he’s doing is he’s destroying the foundations of America. If he’
s not destroying them outright, he’s critically wounding them.”
Here is a transcript of what Levin said:
“For the first six years or so of his presidency, he did not conduct
himself openly like he is right now, did he? No, he is very manipulative.
Plays the long game.
“He has waited until the last two, two and a half years of his presidency
to do what he’s doing now. Starting in Ferguson, moving to Baltimore and
now this. Because it’s legacy time. It’s legacy time. Whether it’s the
environment, whether it’s this stuff, whatever it is --he’s all in. He’s
going a hundred miles an hour. Because it’s about him.
“And he wants to do as much fundamental transformation of America as
possible. And what he’s doing is he’s destroying the foundations of
America. If he’s not destroying them outright, he’s critically wounding
them. It is amazing.
“Race relations in this country before Obama was president were very good.
In any large country with a diverse population, they were very good. Race
relations now, I’ve never seen them so bad. I’m 57 years old. It’s like
the 1960s. Because of Obama, because of his administration, because of his

以前白人高高在上，有色人种做牛做马，敢怒不敢言，因此表面上显得很和谐，这就是
作者说的“were very good”；现在有色人种好不容易当了总统，要翻身做主人了，要
求更多利益了，这势必触犯白人的利益，这就是作者说的“destroying the
foundations of America”。
法律、制度肯定要与时俱进的，几百年前的宪法是工业1.0的产物，现在都工业4.0了，
很多东西肯定要改。本来社会的发展就是推陈出新的，不把旧的利益、观念推翻，如何
发展新的理念？美国又如何能发展？
社会由人组成，社会制度肯定也要符合人口结构的特征。既然有色人种越来越多，白人
相对越来越少，以后肯定不可以再以白人的利益为重点。
再说，作者通篇论述，论据不足，论点不清。因为他不敢说，说了就是种族主义。因此
