Washington State's legalization of marijuana now has regulators planning
to ban the demon weed from places that sell the Devil's brew.
The state is drafting rules to ban the drug from bars. That's fine as
who would want customers ingesting an intoxicant bought elsewhere ? Of
course in NY that wouldn't happen as smoking is banned, something Washington
may want to consider.
A further question is will licensees be expected to chase people down
in parking lots and sidewalks to make sure they don't toke,
And what about the stoned person who has a drink and then hits a
pedestrian. Who do you blame that on ? Well, I would say the smoker, but you
know it will be bar owner, since sellers of weed are not easily found by
process servers.
