l****z 发帖数: 29846 | 1 Exactly four years ago last night Sarah Palin stood on that outdoor Arizona
stage while John McCain gave a concession speech to this little-known Barack
Obama fellow, whom Americans had just elected on a hope and a prayer.
Palin, one of the most exciting and controversial political figures to
emerge in modern times, had given the lackluster Republican campaign its
best chance of winning and thrust it well into the lead by mid-September.
But she was not allowed to speak that election night in 2008. (A year later,
writing elsewhere, we did get to post what she would have said had the
McCain campaign allowed the GOP's first female running mate to address the
disappointed throng and nationwide TV audience.)
However, exactly 1,461 days after that chilly Arizona night outside the
Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix,, the former Alaska governor made sure she could
speak out. Her remarks came in an eloquent statement posted to her Facebook
page late Sunday night (scroll down for the full text).
Palin, who had announced last summer she voted for Newt Gingrich in Alaska's
primary, warmly endorsed the 2012 Republican ticket of Mitt Romney and Paul
Ryan, a sign to her political posse that its members should support the GOP
ticket too. And Palin warned:
"We know what we will get from a second Obama term because we’ve all
endured his first term. We know how well he kept his 2008 campaign promises.
Do we really believe he’ll keep his 2012 promises?"
Palin asks a series of damning rhetorical questions: "Do we believe that the
same president who increased the debt in his first term by more than all
the first 41 presidents combined will suddenly decide to cut the deficit in
his second term?"
"Do we really believe that a president who promised us that job creation was
his number one priority despite month after month of dismal job numbers now
has a credible “plan” for the job growth that eluded him for the past
four years?"
"Do we believe that a president who was caught on a hot mic telling the
Russian president that he would have “more flexibility” after his
reelection is being honest about his plans for a second term?"
Reading the cadence of Palin's remarks, we can almost hear her enthusiastic
crowds shouting the correct to all of her questions: "No!"
Palin offered predictions about a potential second Obama term: a debt crisis
, more inflation, more spending, more taxes, more crony capitalism and
scandals, fewer jobs, less small business opportunities, less domestic
energy and a "blame America first" foreign policy "that bows to our enemies
and snubs our friends like Israel."

And then there's ObamaCare, which will be "locked into law."
Palin, whose SarahPAC donated $5,000 to the Romney campaign last week, also
broadened her appeal to elect numerous down-ticket Republicans whom she has
endorsed on her website list.
"On Tuesday," Palin concluded, "please vote for Governor Mitt Romney and the
commonsense conservatives running for office in your states." (Scroll down

剑,结果还是挑Palin照顾极右的情绪,虽然08共和党估计谁上来都输,但是丢掉北卡
,科罗拉多甚至印第安那还是太过分了。
