每次大选，它都会号称给所有候选人发一个（也不知道是否真的都发了）。如果有回音
，它会把候选人的回答帖出来以壮壮自己的门面。以表示自己真的是代表华人呼吁，而
且引起候选人的注意了。
2008年大选时，它在两党初选时给各个候选人发了个平权问卷。民主党这边，奥巴马没
有理睬，希拉里给了肯定答复。共和党这边，至少麦凯恩给了肯定答复。当希拉里和奥
巴马打得不可开交时，它以这个原因号召大家支持希拉里。希拉里倒台后，以为它会以
同样原因支持麦凯恩，结果它再不提这个茬，号召大家支持奥巴马。于是大家就知道了
它是民主党的小马甲。
后来就有奥巴马的拥趸出来洗地，说什么这个问卷不过是一个政治姿态，没有什么实际
意义，民主党上台华人还是好处多多云云。
新来的不知道，在版上呆过2008年的老人多半对这事有印象。 |

American Vote" article stated:
"There are legions of voters in this country who are completely invisible --
at least to the GOP. . . . . . . .
Since the start of this election, an Asian American Advocacy group known as
the 80-20 Initiative has been pressing hard for the presidential candidates
to commit to issues disproportionately plaguing Asian America. Obama signed
a pledge during the primaries.
And McCain?
No dice. Like I said, McCain can't see us -- something that might cost him
big in November. |

80-20 Educational Foundation didn’t get a reply with all yeses from Sen.
Obama. The deadline stated in S. B. Woo’s earnest “open letter” to him
has passed. The Board of 80-20 PAC voted unanimously to endorse Sen. Clinton
for the Calif. Democratic primary on Feb. 5. $30,000 has been appropriated
to buy ads in Asian ethnic media in CA to spread the news of our endorsement

s primary. But, he did reply by Oct. 10. (see the Washington Post article).
By the way, did John McCain reply with all yeses?

“yeah, big deal!”
对呀，任何发生在奥总统身上的不那么好的事，都不是什么big deal。
如果80-20问卷发出后没给候选人足够的时间回复，那是80-20的错。不过好像事实是时
间是给够了的？
从一月到八月，过去了大半年时间，还有不到一个月就大选投票了，某人才突然想起这
个“no big deal”来。来“团结一切可团结的力量”来了，对吧？
