(CNSNews.com) – Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has come out on top in
an annual survey asking Americans which celebrity they would most like to
have living next door.
Cast members of MTV’s Jersey Shore were named the least-wanted neighbors of
the year – for the second consecutive year. The survey is conducted by
Zillow, a real estate information marketplace.
Topping the list in Zillow’s fifth annual survey was Tebow, the phenom
quarterback known for his outspoken Christianity, with 11 percent of the
total votes cast.
Hollywood glamour couples Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston
and Justin Theroux rounded out the top three, scoring 10 percent and nine
percent respectively.
At the other end of the scale, apparently most Americans would prefer to
watch Snooki’s escapades from a safe distance – if at all. The hard-
partying New Jersey reality show ensemble secured the thumbs-down from 28
percent of respondents to win the worst neighbors title.
Charlie Sheen (21 percent) and Lindsay Lohan (14 percent) rounded out the
top three worst neighbors, after a year characterized by Sheen’s “winning
” tirades and firing from the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, and actress
Lohan’s continuing legal troubles.
Reality star socialite Kim Kardashian, Pitt and Jolie, and former prosecutor
Nancy Grace appeared on both lists.
Kardashian ranked the fourth worst celebrity neighbor (13 percent) while
coming in at seventh place (four percent) on the most desired neighbor list.
Pitt and Jolie ranked second behind Tebow for best, and garnered sixth place
(three percent) for the worst.
Grace took sixth place (four percent) in the best neighbor list and fifth
place (three percent) in the worst neighbor list.

American Idol’s Jennifer Lopez and music moguls Beyoncé and Jay-Z were
also listed as preferred neighbors for the coming year, coming in at fourth
and fifth place respectively.
Disgraced sexting politician Anthony Weiner also made the worst list, taking
seventh place with two percent of the vote.
Perhaps the most striking finding was the fact that most respondents – 42
percent – did not want a celebrity neighbor, the highest score in the
survey’s short history.
“As a voyeuristic culture that breathlessly tracks every celebrity movement
, it’s extremely surprising to see so many Americans saying they wouldn’t
like to live next to any celebrity at all,” said Zillow chief marketing
officer Amy Bohutinsky.
“We may want to watch, read and talk about celebrities, but when it comes
to sharing a back fence, many Americans think it’s just too close for
comfort.”
The survey randomly selected 1,007 American adults to determine the results.
