Perhaps Sarandon is creating something new - the drive-by protest! From the
NY Daily News: Wall Street protests get a boost of star power, Susan
Sarandon shows up at demonstration
A week-old Wall St. protest got a little star power Tuesday in the form of
activist actress Susan Sarandon.
This isn't a good sign for Sarandon:
"I'm just here to be educated," the "Bull Durham" star said as some of the
young demonstrators in the crowd asked each other, "Who is she?"
But this is the part of the story that raised eyebrows:
Sarandon, 64, stopped by the Occupy Wall Street encampment in Zuccotti Park
on her way to catch a flight to Italy.
The protesters peppered her with questions about climate change, consumerism
and the economy.
What would a moonbat actress know about any of those outside of what she's
