Mitt Romney has adapted a poster and slogan used by former British Prime
Minister Margaret Thatcher to boost his Republican presidential bid.
Mr Romney is likening President Obama's America to the economic blight that
dogged late 1970s Britain.

Mrs Thatcher's poster featured a long line of glum, unemployed people with
the simple headline 'Labour Isn't Working.'
Mr Romney's mocked-up campaign poster, featured on the homepage of his
website, features the same long, snaking line of people with the words '
Obama Isn't Working.'
The ad for Mrs Thatcher came out in 1979 when she was leader of the
Conservative Party.

It was designed by the famous Saatchi and Saatchi agency.
It had a devastating effect on the opposition and the Conservatives swept to
power.
Mr Romney posted on a blog that the ad had been referred to as the 'poster
of the century.'
It clearly summed up Labour-led Britain's economic climate of high
unemployment, rising inflation and a growing national debt.
In his post, Mr Romney said: 'Those conditions and the public discontent
throughout the country during that election and the parallels that Americans
face today cannot be ignored.
'With 9.1 percent unemployed, record deficits, a soaring national debt and
millions of struggling families, one thing is clear - Obama isn't working,
either.'

The tribute to Mrs Thatcher on the blog came after the Boston Globe reported
that Mr Romney would travel to London next month to drum up campaign cash
from Americans abroad.
Mr Romney is the Republican frontrunner currently developing his campaign
for next year's primary and caucus nominating contests.
Mr Obama's economic management remains the focus of his campaign, saying the
president has actually made things worse.
The former Massachusetts governor also released a new video on Friday, Obama
's Misery Index: Ryan's Story.
Ryan King of Midland, Michigan, tells of falling on hard times and talks in
sombre, apolitical tones about his economic situation.
According to the Washington Post, Mr King was identified in the local press
in 2009 as the vice treasurer for the Midland County Young Republicans.
