Today, I received a letter from Finance Department of College Park, which
said I have to pay for two tickets (both of them are overdue for more than
30 days). The basefine for these two tickets are $35 each, but right now
they charged $80 for each of them.
The reason why I said they are ridiculous is that I never got any tickets
beforehand. The other problem is that I never remember I have been to the
location where the tickets were issued. There is also no evidence (like a
picture) in the letter.
What I should do? There is no "appeal" option in that letter, does this
mean I cannot appeal?
