难道Proposition 8是我们教会提出的？是加州的市民提出的。我们教会的教友只是其
中部分而已。还有新教的基督徒，天主教徒，非基督徒提出的，为什么要针对我们教会
呢？
我本人根本不在加州，2008年我还不是摩门呢，我从来没听说不出钱的就会被开除教会

任何媒体都可以是按照自己的立场截取对支持自己立场有用的。这个太常见了。
里面节选的没有上下文，谁知道究竟是什么情况下说的？还把我们教会的先知鼓励教友
的话节选在里面，请问他的话是针对Proposition 8 说的吗？是的话，请把他说的上下
文录像放一遍？

這題目沒錯啊！ 這不是説 prop. 8 是摩門的proposition, 而是説在
proposition 8 中摩門的 proposition.
摩門對這提案參與最多，所以針對摩門，這有啥奇怪？ 你自己要不要了解一下你的教

received came from Mormon sources, and that LDS church members made up
somewhere between 80% and 90% of the volunteers for early door-to-door

and broadcast to its congregations a program describing the support of the
Proposition, and describing the timeline it proposes for what it describes
as grassroots efforts to support the Proposition.[65]

organization, the Knights of Columbus,[52] firmly supported the measure. The
bishops of the California Catholic Conference released a statement
supporting the proposition,[53] a position met with mixed reactions among
church members, including clergy.
Other religious organizations that supported Proposition 8 include the Union
of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America,[66] Eastern Orthodox Church,[
67] a group of Evangelical Christians led by Jim Garlow and Miles McPherson,

The Grossmont Union High School District in San Diego County, California,

voted 4–0 to endorse the amendment of the California State Constitution.[72]
The Asian Heritage Coalition held a rally in support of Proposition 8 in
downtown San Diego on October 19, 2008.[73]
During the November 2008 election campaign, Porterville's City Council was
the only City Council in California that passed a Resolution in favor of
Proposition 8.[74]
重点是，作为加州的居民，不管是什么市民，所在什么宗教背景，有没有权力去投票？
有没有权力通过投票表达自己的看法？有没有权力自愿参与社会立法活动。
回答是，人人有权，是吗？这是美国宪法赋予公民的权力。
同性恋群体当然也有权利有投反对票，捐款等活动。
我不明白的是，既然大家都有权利参与，或者我这样的，有权力选择不参与。参与的，
