1. Think why you want to create your own religion. Is it because you feel no
other religion satisfies you? Is it because existing religions seem overly
intolerant? Or is it because you feel you know something which you would
like to share with the rest of humanity? Understand your reasons. |

Who am I? Are people created as another animal, or in the image of the
Creator?
Where did I come from? Was this world created by one God (monotheism),
or was it made as the teamwork of many Gods (polytheism)? Perhaps the Earth
just fell in place by accident, or it was just always around. Did a God
create this world and leave it behind, or are we a part of him? Are we
simulations in a computer?
Why are we here? As in our purpose. Is the purpose of life happiness?
Reproduction? To fulfill the Creator(s) who gave you life? Or is it a
combination?
Where will I go when I die? Is there a heaven, hell, or purgatory? What
can a person do to stay out of Hell if there is one? Are people reincarnated
? Can one's works or faith influence what animal/person one becomes? Is
there a sacred animal (such as cows in Hinduism) that holds sacred people?
Or do the lights just switch off when you die?
All people wonder these questions at some point, and religions provide a
quick answer to these fundamental topics of philosophy. Consider the
answers that your religion will bring to the people. |

understand. Make sure that you truly believe what you are writing, and that
you're not just making something up that you know is complete nonsense. |

Explain to them your reasons for starting this religion. Don't let closed-
minded people put you off. |

itself if the idea has real Truth in it. |

fact that you founded the religion. Think of previous religious founders
like Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, Confucius etc. How did they
behave, were they humble or self-glorifying. |

open-minded 是认识到人的本性的局限性，必然导致所有人在一定程度上都会是closed
-minded的人。
closed-minded 是说自己是open-minded的，和自己不一样的人都是closed-minded的人
，表现为攻击自己竖立的草人。 |

发帖数: 5449 | 11 有道理。我觉得open-minded的人，不会在没有确凿证据的时候攻击别人的观点，但是
会阐明自己的观点。
closed-minded即使没有证据证明对方是错的，也要攻击别人的观点，即使攻击了也无
法证明自己是对的。

发帖数: 1672 | 12 同意，无论是各大宗教也好，有神论也好，无神论也好。
都有各自的理论基础，每个人是因为自己从小受的教育和后来受的各种影响，建立起自
己的信仰体系。
对于各个成熟的理论，在其内部都是基本理性和逻辑合谐的，但到了一定高度，就全部
都要建立在某些公理之上，这些公理是必须用信心接受，不能证明的。就像有神无法证
明，无神同样无法证明一样。
如果说什么是closed mind，可能就是block掉别人的观点和理论，无论是用不断重复质
疑，嘲笑谩骂，还是什么别的控制方法，都是一样的，不让别的人有机会去接
触不同的文化和想法，从而达到某些目的。
我之所以信基督，是因为这是对我最合理的世界观的解释，我对无神论，佛教等都有了
解之后，认为这是最合理的。别的人如果有别的想法，该尊重，但是可以交流。而且，
到了公理这个阶段，决定性的因素是体验，经历和感觉，不是逻辑。因为公理是无法证
明的。
但是，我并不认为可以随便攻击别人的信仰，特别是用自己的公理，去攻击别人的定理
，因为自己的公理推不出别人的定理。
