Is there a God? Or, does God exist?
My answer is: I don't know. Because I can neither prove nor disprove the
existence of a God.
Then why we can prove that the Christian God does NOT exist? The answer is:
information. Before I proceed to present my proof, let me give an example
first. Let's say:
1) if I tell you there is a strange horse-like animal but with two-heads and
three tails on earth. You may choose not to believe me, but can you prove I
was wrong? I don't think you can prove I'm wrong.
2) however, if I tell you there will be a strange horse-like animal but with
two-heads and three tails appearing at 11:45am tomorrow in front of the
city hall of San Jose, California. Can you prove I was wrong? Sure you can.
So the difference is: how much information we have. We have lots of
information about the Christian God from the Bible. That's why we can prove
that the Christian God does NOT exist.
Here's my proof:
1) The Christian God said:"I will no longer let my holy name be profaned":
Isaiah 48:11 For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let
myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another.
Ezekiel 39:7 "'I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will
no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I
the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.
2) But his name kept being profaned all the time, both in real life
situations and in the Bible:
Romans 2:24 As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles
because of you."
So the logical conclusion is: either this God does NOT exist, or he said
something he couldn't accomplish at all. But we all know the Christian God
is supposed to be omnipotent. Then the only option left is: the Christian
God does NOT exist.
