it depends on the type of credit card that you have. You should definitely
call your credit card company ahead of time before you are planning to use
your card there. I tried to use my chase freedom credit card while i was
there last yr, didn't call my credit card ahead of time, and it was rejected
. I know you can use Chase Sapphire preferred in Canada w/out any foreign
transaction.

i believe it is the same. EXCEPT gas in canada is /liter and the price
there is about $1 more expensive /gal. So it makes sense to fill up ur tank
in the States before you enter Canada. |

for hotel and restaurants in ontario is like 13%. the highest tax rate is
the states is around 10% in CA, which is still lower than ontario. |
