get overwhelmed by how many cars are there on the 403 hwy.
不过加拿大人开车总体来说还是慢。我在加拿大开80mph, 将近130kmh, 几乎能超掉所
有的车。但在美国这边，有些高速上仅仅是中等偏上 |

. Gas is 140/litre? if you convert that into $/gal, it is approx $4.4/gal,
the average gas price here in the states right now is around $3.6. Also,
the consumer tax is a whopping 13%! the average consumer tax in the states
is around 7-8%. I think california and illinois have the highest consumers
tax, b/c those two states are in debt, and the consumer tax in alaska is 0.. |

especially up north, due to the cold temperature, is almost uninhabitable to
live. So most of the canadians live just north of the american borders.
All the big cities from west to east in canada: vancouver, calgary, toronto,
montreal and QC. Even in toronto this yr, b/c of the amount of snow that
we are getting, it is pretty cold.
Personally, i never really had a problem w/ the traffic in canada. i mean
when u go to a big city, whether it is toronto, la or chicago, you gonna
encounter traffic problems, the roads are going to become congested at some
point, and as a driver, you just maneuver your way through.
The problem that i have w/ canada is the freaking high tax rate. I mean as
some1 who lives in america, i have to pay the high gas price, the 13%
consumer tax, but i don't get enjoy any of the benefits that the canadian
government offers. In america, i have to pay tax too, but at least, my tax
dollar will benefit the place that i live. |

, especially if you compare it to our salary. I am planning to visit europe
this may, and the gas price there is in the $8 range. Crazy!!!! :) |

gas price goes up just by a little bit, every1 in america starts to freak
out. On the news, it would be like the economists predict if the gas price
reaches $5/gal, hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost, we will have
another recession. But honestly, even if the gas price reaches $5/gal, it
is still 40% cheaper than europe.
in a sense, americans are like spoiled kids. we get to enjoy all these
benefits: clean air, relatively low cost of living, democracy... but we
still complain about how horrible our life is, :). |

另外LA的5号在south OC最宽有到18线
但是加州的公共建设我觉得不算好的

反而西北的washington州，开60限速的地方大部分人开55。离开加拿大很近地说。

发帖数: 1073 | 50 没错，Florida的I-75、95、4什么的限速70，但一般司机都开80-85，南佛更恐怖，据
说90以上的都大有人在。
I-5华州境内Olympia-Marysville之间限速都是60，其他地方70，但Oregon更低，
Portland附近只有50，其他地方最高限速只有65，大家一般都开65，那些急速驶过的都
是加州牌照的。
