When I was much younger (and when gas was $1-1.5 per gal), I drove alone
about 1100 miles in less than 28 hours. and sleep in the car for may be 3
hours in rest area at daybreak to avoid looking into sunrise (I drove
eastbound). | a*****o 发帖数: 86 | 3 哦哦哦 $1-1.5 per gal.........

| d*****o 发帖数: 2868 | 5 i had to sleep in the car last yr when i went to michigan's upper peninsula;
somehow i booked my hotel on the wrong date. anyway, i ended up parking my
car behind a gas station and slept for about 5 hrs before woke up by the
cold.
it helps when you have a suv or even a van. this way, you can just lower
down ur back seats, and sleep diagonally. lz, don't do it unless you
absolutely have to, it is not that comfortable, you cannot take a shower
when u sleep in the car, plus it is not safe either. Some1 could knock out
ur car's window and rob you. | c**2 发帖数: 8496 | 6 it was even 90c in many mid-west areas in the end of last century. Also
when as an F1 student, you drove everywhere, even to places 1000 miles away,
because you have free time but no money. Now older and many domestic trips
can be business expenses, I rather fly.
