documents with you. I went there two years ago. They didn't check anything
while flying there. On the way back, they'll check your status at the
airport of St.Thomas, but they won't take your I-94 away or request for visa
stamp.
Indeed, I just confirmed this with our company's immigration lawyer
yesterday. Here's her answer:
You are correct, USVI is considered domestic travel.
However, as Immigration/Border officers may conduct spontaneous checks of
immigration paperwork, we recommend that you carry the following documents
with you when traveling to the USVI: your current passport, your H-1B
approval packet and original H-1B approval notice, a copy of your most
recent pay statement, and a valid form of U.S. identification (like a U.S.
driver's license). In addition, having these documents will be useful if
your plane/boat is diverted to a non-U.S. territory for any reason as you
may be required to obtain a visa stamp before returning to the U.S.
【在 g*******n 的大作中提到】 : 看faq说pr和usvi都不需要,pr没有问题,但usvi我网上查了下 好像有点问题 : http://us-virgin-islands.visahq.com/requirements/China/resident : Citizens of China living in the United States can travel to US Virgin : Islands using their valid United States visa. : 这句话是不是说过期了就不能去了 : 另外jetblue买票的时候去sju-stt也提示说travel to another country : 有没最近去过的确认一下
