day 0 stay at Durango
day 1 drive Durango --> Gunnison --> Crested Butte
day 2 tour crested butte, kebler's pass, then drive to Aspen
day 3 Maroon Bell, then drive to Denver
I have one question about day 2, from Crested Butte to Aspen, can I take
Castle Creek Road/CR 15. Do you think this road is doable in a 2wd car
assuming the weather cooperates?
Last year, I took this route (crested butte --> kebler's pass --> marble -->
aspen). and also this route (crested butte --> Buena Vista --> independence
pass--> aspen)
So I want to try the new route this time, but only if the shortcut work (cr
15).
