if there is an award seats available for next connecting flight, but you
choose not to take it and overnight, most agents will not allow these.
IF you take the last flight in or no flight has award available as same day
connection, then you can do it if your next connection flight is within 24
hours.
Like the award I booked few days ago, PRG-LHR-YVR(overnight) because I can
not connect back to SEA same day.
