yea, most of the national park (i.e. Rocky Mtn NP) are PARTIALLY open only.
well, besides SKI, there are things you can do:
1) Denver (lots sight seeing)
2) glenwood (hot natural spring)
3) grand junction (colorado national monument)
etc ...
