but if you want to enjoy life, 100k is not enough, hehe
as to promotion, it depends on ur performance, your company , your supervisor
etc
and dont expect too much before you get PE and 10-year experience
project manager with 7-8 year experience, in my company, makes aroun 70k per
year.
chief estimator in a top 5 contractor in CA makes around 125 k. hehe
scheduling consultant with 3-5 year experience normally makes 50-60k

ass.
One of my friends with PhD degree earns around 60k-70k in the industry when he
got the offer. Although he has some experience. It is not bad.

PhD is not a bad title.
WDNY is absoutly a PhD, Man. He is still happily living in NY and serving in
P-B, while he is still thinking for the EIEC-issue for al of us.
