I am not sure if you guys are familar with the analysis of
elastic-plastic-hinge method. Let me straight myself here:
My problem is to simulate the stiffness of the beam section after its first
yield in a ductile beam due to the expansion of the plasticity in the section
vertically.
My concern is to get the explicit form of the soften stiffness of the beam
given a cross-section under the influence of the plasticity expansion
sectional wide, neglecting the expansion in the beam longitudinally.
