这里说的执照不是驾驶执照， 而是职业工程师执照。 我在西南
交通大学土木系拿了三个学位 ( BSCE, MS, PhD ), 又有在瑞典
Chalmers University of Technology 近一年的客座研究员的经历，
但由于我没有美国学历， 在美国的就业市场上就不具任何优势。尤
其在我找第一份工作时。原因很简单，我没有在美国工作的经历，一
般的雇主又缺乏对中国学历的认识。在这种情况下，获取美国的职业
工程师执照( Professional Engineer License，简称PE )无疑是我
证明自己能力的最佳途径。在美国，一般认为成为"PE"的理由如下:
