kid to Disneyland, I visited near-by Hawaiian Garden. I played 100$ buy-in
2/3NL, ends up winning a little bit on a dumb luck hand (3 ways preflop
all in, TT vs QQ vs KK, my QQ caught another Q on turn).
What bothers me is the rake in the casino game. I always feel casino cut
too big a chunk from the low stack poker. In SD, the cut is 3+1+1 per hand
(casino+jackpot+tip). In LA, it is even worse at 4+1+1. If the casino
has to stack up the rake on the table, instead of hidden in the drop box,
I think most players will feel sick...
IMHO, the micro-stake home poker, not casino poker, is more true to
the spirit of the game. | f*****g
