| f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 6 12 totally live outs or more (if the other guy holds like KsK or QsQ alike)
, plus fold equity, ... he had to.
if he had made this hand by hitting one of those 12 outs, he would have
about 3M chips (about 8% chips), and final table is within touch (i tracked
down a few other guys who made it and their stack sizes around the same time)
9th would be $28K, even 10th-12th bubble guys would make $19K, so this hand was
at least a 19K-4K = $15K one for making it, let alone going further at final
table, sigh.

flop to control the pot. I got the from his c bet that he had strong hand like overpair. I just dont like a blank came on the turn and I have to fold on turn. Second thought is that I dont have much fold equity there and why bother to raise his bet?

any mtt special theory would justify a call here
that's why I said it's sick, coz you can't fold
like overpair. I just dont like a blank came on the turn and I have to fold
on turn. Second thought is that I dont have much fold equity there and why
bother to raise his bet?

| g**s 发帖数: 1114 | 9 Call flop and fold on turn is a good option if you indeed believe there is
absolutely no fold equity there(ie. you will get all values if you hit any
way). However in this particular case, you get TP on turn and you will still
go all in. I dont know the pre-flop actions. Is it possible that he thinks you have 3 and slows down on turn?

| c****1 发帖数: 457 | 10 Preflop he open up 2x from MP and I called.
From his c-betting size, my gut feeling is that he has a strong hand like
overpair and is afraid I have a spade to outdraw him. So he is unlikely to
fold on flop, but if a spade comes on turn, he may give up. If i knew he had
a set, I prob would not raise, but if he had something like KK QQ, I had 15
outs. The question is that given this information, if fold equity is slim,
would you push to gamble with 55-58% winning chance and you know if you lose
, your chips will drop from 4 to around 27(slightly below average). Prob not
by ICM, not sure.
still
you have 4 and slows down on turn?
fold
