verification, it should not be too hard to ask friend in China to help. The
problem is cash out. I am not sure if I can still use bank in U.S to get
wire tranfer from FTP. So how do player in China get cash out? Can they send
check to China? Any poker forum for online poker in China?

I know a guy "shiftzerg" there who won 750Guar@FTP for 140K early this year.
There's no problem for him to cash out money. The initial identification
process is kind of tedious though. They may need your photo ID, proof of
residency such as phone bill. If you have question, PM him. BTW, shiftzerg
is a very good Chinese player in high stake MTT.

to wire transfer to an bank account in china first, or just get check
mailed to the chinese address and take it to bank (1-2 months wait for check
to clear).
Also, it's possible to sell the online money for RMB, many player in China
will buy them, but it's hard to find someone to buy your exact amount,
somehow there are always people asking to buy like $50, or someone asking
for 10k+. Be prepare to take a small hit (1-2%) if you this route on the
exchange rate though. | p****r

Thanks a lot for the info. During blockout period(if the bill passes), I
do not plan to leave U.S. That is why I plan to use VNP to play. The
question is weather there is way to send the check to China and ask friend
to send check to U.S and deposit the check to U.S bank here.
I play poker full time and I keep a very close eye to the progresss of
the bill. It is quite unlikely that the bill can pass in this congress
session though from what I read.
