我看ftp的promotion 是说如果通过ftp的satellite进main event 并夺冠的
最后会在总奖金基础上再加1000万刀。 cheong可惜了。

不止是俺这样的小鱼，其实估计8000参赛者里面，有7000都是咱们这样的，根本没有这
个bankroll去打这个，有也是挤出来勉强而为或者卫星赛进去的，这其实已经输在了起

Ax, but bad timing and stack size, more or less like the saying "you're
right (read on the situation) but you're still wrong (bad action and
outplayed)".

rounders", "if you're too careful, your whole life could be a f**king grind.

my poker is like a small grocery store business, where we only take in so
much inventory, and expect to produce such small profits. we keep going at a
slow pace againest weak/bad customers where our edge is at the largest.

If you all really want to do this, I will suggest something practical. we can organize a game among ourselves as satelite. The total prize
will be the buy in for one of the event--say $1k NL holdem game (something
reasonable instead of 10k ME) Now the winner will go to LV to play for the
team (anyone can go sweat at their own cost) If this guy goes into the
money, he will share 25% of the total winning with the people who were in
the satelite. Now this is something actually doable and practical. The
actual % and buy in can be discussed.
If we do this every year, very soon everyone of us will get a shot at the dream with mitigated risk. |

Turn the weekly game into WSOP/ME satellite(100% goes to the pool or 50%-
alike). The overall champ goes to WSOP. If he wins, he take a cut of the $ (% TBD). The left is shared with all players who play at the weekly game (% depends
on buy-ins).
But one issue is Tax. Also we need look out the weekly-game buy-in to
ensure the pool will hit 10K.

it, there will be an overall champ.
Surely, if to turn the weekly game into WSOP/Stlt, better not to take 100%
buy-in into the pool. That will discourage the lower-rank players at late
stage. But 50% will do.
If additional satellite, that is great. But need to think about how many
will hop in.
Anyhow FTP has many stlts. TO have stls among us, it is more for common
interest and enjoyment.

B up 50$, C up 20$. Do you want B give A the 50$ in the end to get the buy
in money? This simply does not work even if the final pool can reach 1k buy
in.
We need a winner takes all satelite and 10k buy in probably too much. It
needs to be something reasonable like 1k. say we have 10 people intrested.
We can each buy in 100$ and the winner will take all our money and go buy in
for the 1k WSOP event. To mitigage our risk, if the winner win $$ in the
event, everyone in the pools can split part of the winning. |

A few ones have buy-in of 1k/2K if you like to go high-stake.

the backups offer the left 80%. About any profit, take a cut with all agree
upon.
If the player takes free-roll(back-ups offer 100% buy-in), the player have
too low
risk and too low outcome cut.
I wish someone can backup my FTOPs. I register one of it.
