One hand(HENL HU) DURRR at btn call allin on river with AJo(board 2238Q; the
opp fire three barrels w/ 45o-check raise 1/2 pot on flop).
You lvl can go HENL500, I bet. It is REALLY about gut and bankroll.
I can't go further than NL100.

well, as for profitability at 1/2NL, i believe what 2+2ers said, nobody can
beat $20/hr (excluding rake, tip, gas, tolls, etc.) in the long term though.
just like online, 5BB looks like the golden number, few can do much better.

1 limp EP CO raise to 10$ (he has raised EP before 10X with pocket 9s.
Relatively weak tight like most live player)
I am at button AQs,
I 3 bet raise to 25$. limper fold, CO 4 bet to 100$. I instant know that my
had is not goodm, but i still acted painful and hestitated and throw away
the hand after a while. He showed me AA.. Easy lay down preflop when weak tight 发彪。。

Some asian guy just joined table.

never seen one'd 5 bet with QQ-, lol, no matter how loose the game was.
2) yeah, need some read before bluffing well. but actually this one was not
bad, most live weak ones would lay down here.

flush on board. and he looks weak and is weak.. i still don't know why he
called other than he just simply do not like to be bluffed.... |

I acted not knowing some of the casino rules(e.g. left the chips in the
plastic holder, didn't understand the dealer, etc).
I have KQ, flop has a Q83.No draws.
I raised potsize and only a black guy called.
Turn is a A, I then showed some nerves and tried to read if he has an A.
He glanced at me( knowing I was a newbie and didn't have an A). Went all in

he was quick and his face was calm.
I called, that was a bluff...

Harrahs AC. When I play online I also switch back-n-forth between small bet
and value bet because I know people are making notes on me and I wanna
confuse them.
Anyway if you think you are ahead then reraise in turn does not make sense
coz you may scare him out. I would shove on the river coz it's really a
small chance for him to hit a fullhouse on the river and with $70 left he
probably cannot run away.

card str8.
live, the rake is capped at $4, and it's taken, so no more rake no matter
what you do.
just shove like buying an insurance in case. the only 1% chance you call is
to see his cards in case he folds.
at least another $60 value missed, lol.

flop: JJJ (1st time ever i saw this type of flop, lol).
small bet/call, HU.
turn: blank, small bet/call.
river: J.
bettor bet big, this old man was soooo confused, asking, "why you bet? we
all have it...", then he just called with Ax.
then the bettor (apparently a new fish) realized it's a mistake, quickly
mucked his PP. apparently he didn't know this type of board, any Ax was the
nuts!

poker. I played last weekend for 4 hours. No really good hands, all pocket
pairs are beaten after flops. Even I try to bluff, called by sets. So
what do you do at this situation? It was very easy to lose $10+ on a
preflop call and hit nothing on flop and reraisded by half flop.
just my random thoughts. Maybe you all are lucky and don't have this kind
of situations, or know something I don't. |

you hit something.(10 2o 还是muck 吧） Read their hand and value bet or just fold after flop. They normally have their cards writen on their face. You can't win much at live only playing premium hand.

I limp button 34o with 4 other player
flop 4410,
EP (fairly aggressive) lead 10$ one caller I call.
turn is a J
EP bet 25$ one call i call.
river is a K EP check caller check.

nothing compared to what you could potentially get, at least $10K or so (50%
