pure 3 barrels bluff is extreme but more often he'll pay you well on Jxxxx
or Axxxx.
in cash games, many fail to realize AJo is just a very marginal hand, not
far away from its troublesome brothers KJo or QTo. they think Ace with a
face card is like gold, lol.

pot-size bet. What will you do? I don't see a call or even raise here. |

I have a feeling that this guy doesn't have much. That's why I choose a
blocking sized bet to make him think that he might be able to bluff me off.
Check raise river will get no extra value for me.
Selectively aggressive is important to be a good poker player, but blind
aggression without reads is just simply stupid.

发帖数: 1621 | 6 It was a good play on the flop and turn. If you don't hit your set on the
turn, it is very tough to call his pot size bet with your pair 3s.
I will do the same thing on the turn. Once you called on the turn, it is
over for me to continue bluffing, because whatever I bet, you will probably
still call. And what you could have to call my big bet with on the turn?
Obviously a good hand that I can't bluff with.
So the rive shove was abviously a donkey play. I am fine with his play until
river. |
