One reason is to call 7$ raise with small/medium pair.
Since the prob. is around 1/7, short stack would not recover
even hit once out 7 times. 60$ is enough.
q1) You are not ht with trip on flop at the very first hand.
If you are hit at the 7th hand, you only have 18$ left? Then
should $60 still could be too low? Or you keep it at $60 most of time?
q2) Say, you are at LP(BTN, CO, or CO-1) and there is a 7$ raise ahead,
you having s | f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 2 i guess for Q1, ppl would have auto-rebuy set to 60BB.
for Q2, it really depends, i'd not suggest auto call 3.5BB with small-medium
PPs, but most of time, i'd do so.

But not short-stacked. When you are really short-stack, the option to you is
limited.
Say you buy-in for $120 in NL 200, you get your pari 4s in the first hand,
you will raise if it is you to open the pot or call a raise, because if you
hit the set, it compensate you well, normally. But if sb re-popped after
you, you have to fold your small pairs because if you invested sth like $21
pre-flop, it won't reward you $160 bac

| s*********k 发帖数: 1989 | 4 What if there is 3BB and then 3X re-raise (10BB) ahead of you (you have 70BB,
RUSH 25, it is 17$), do you call? Or a limper and then a 6BB raiser?
I fold (small pair,77-) most of time.

| f*****g 发帖数: 15860 | 5 i guess it's a standard fold, unless you have some unreal reads, hehe.
simple fact: small PP isn't really ahead of ANYTHING. they need to be played
cheaply.
70BB,

| T*********k 发帖数: 1621 | 6 Yeah, I will fold too.
You have to consider if you call the 10 BB raise, what if the original
raiser re-pop again with 20BB raise, would you call that again? You fold,
you put more dead money in the pot, you call, you are sandwiched in between.
So I will only call 3BB raise, not the 10 BB
