i put at least one of them got a Kx too, and if i raise here, a split pot
and i can't get any extra value from the other guy, and i don't want to get
raised for such a board.
UTG asked me, "do you have AA?" i showed KcKs, the other guy showed Kd8d.
UTG sighed deeply, turned over KhTh for a flopped f**king nuts.
he was checking all the way for me to catch up with my "AA", for the bad beat
jackpot, now at $135000.

have AA in your hand, not like AJ (board AAJxx) or JJ (board AAAxx).
so basically the minimum winning hand would be at least a quad.
in a word, there're only two ways you could have such a hand:
1) PP
2) suited cards.
i keep track of these jackpots, and on average, hit once in a month (
sometimes up to 3, 4 months), in about 100k hands. actually 135K jackpot
means in the last 135K hands, no such a hit ($1 per pot for bad

board.
Also after a jackpot is hit, the new jackpot usually starts with some seed
money, so 135K jackpot should be less than 135K hands.

1) it has to be AA as your hole cards;
2) even not 1, the Q on the board will be used instead of yours.
borgata has lower standard, As over 8s. tropicana's is As over Ts, and
tourneys count too. ballys (165K now) has the best pot for everyone,
because half of it will be split for every one in the poker room, as
long as he is dealt in a hand at the moment. it's not much, but still a
couple hundreds (say, 100 players).
if caesars had the same deal, i would have had $2k

too stringent, here we only require both hole cards play. Even better, in
the example I mentioned, both the hole cards and the board contains Q, the
hole card Q plays.
