NL200(1/2)
one guy limped in and button called, I raised to 8$ at small blind.boch
called.
flop Q103, I bet 16$, one guy fold , botton reraised to 47$! I called,
turn is 10 ( there is no flush draw) , I checked, he pushed all in 167$!
can I call, what he may have, why he push so much??

His weakest possible hand could be AQ.
If he had KK he could reraise you preflop.
If one is too aggressive, he could allin with AQ, but for a normal guy, allin
is an overplay.
More likely he had a full house( two pairs when he reraised you).

i guess i would call, your AA was kind of hidden ($8, $16, bets).
wish for a good (no trouble) river.
he's more likely playing by Q + nice kicker.

I see this not a meaningful discussion.
Live poker and online poker, they are two different games.
A good way of play in one game, could lose your pant in another.
As far as I know, more than 90% allins for online poker are nuts(Excluding micro games).

He play online but it doesn't matter whether it is online or live.
The point is people who argue the case are from two different group, with
quite different way of playing. No matter the case is online or live, there will
be conflict of opinions.

i read again...
$47 on flop was like asking "do you have a queen, what does your $8 and $16
represent? medium pair? AK missed flop but still try to be strong?...".
$167 (although too big) on turn was like "all right, i asked you about the Q
, now T paired up, (ideally)it's two pair against two pair, and now about
kicker. if you're weak, get out of here now, i'm ok to take the ~$126+ pot".
IF (of course a big IF) this guy is normal, i bet he didn't put melonli had
AA or KK. the way that melon

$8 is only a pot sweetner bet, which is really too small and others
have excellent implied odds to call here. QT3 is also a very
dangerous flop, TT, 33, QT all beat you. That means you want to bet more
to define your hand, so a pot size bet is better. 16 is not enough here.
Now you have a tough time, that 47 can be merely a bluff with position,
or a raise with AT, blabla, and intend to make huge bluffs on turn. It's
best to fold that $47 raise cause of the reverse implied odds, if
you win, you w

It really depends how you read your opponent.
I made such a move last week in two back to back hands on the same guy.
All in with nuts on the turn/river acting like bluff. He reloaded twice
because of this.
My point is when people mixed up, it's hard to put them in a hand.

the point is that it's just which poison you choose to take. if you call the
huge flop raise, then later, you may either be bluffed out of pot with
the best hand or call with the worse hand. Position is the most important
thing in deep stack games, without position, AA is also very vulnerable
against deep stack skillful opps. Folding the flop raise also may
have a good advantage, it may induce more bluffs in latter more
expensive hands and you may penalize your opps there.

another point I want to mention here is that you can also check the flop
to induce bluffs. That's the way to keep the pot small, with AA,
you really want to play small pots. Also, $8 compraing with your $200 stack
is almost nothing, so it's ok not to "protect" your hand to avoid sticky
situations like this. Suppose your opp bets, you can either call or
checkraise
him with strength, the playing dynamics may change a lot. Now he has a
tough decision to make, cause he may face trip Q, ten or 3. Sti

I like the idea too. AA would rather win small than lose big which happens a
lot.
不过这把牌还是很难说 AA应该还事暗的 敌人打的过凶了

The Joys Of Soft Competition
THE WEEKLY SHUFFLE, 2007-06-24, by Ozone
For American poker players, online poker options are limited thanks to
former United States Senator Bill Frist, who pushed through the Unlawful
Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. The bill resulted in many online poker
rooms, such as Party Poker and Titan Poker, no longer offering their real-
money games to Americans. The few online poker rooms that still service US
