High-growth ecommerce company in Houston area seeks an Accountant to support
their rapid expansion. You will play an integral role in developing
policies and procedures. In this dynamic environment, monitoring and
controlling inventory and sales will play a big contribution to the company'
s success. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage month-end close process with a focus on the areas of inventory and
gross margin
Analyze and improve processes and controls related to sales and inventory
management
Create monthly calculations of cost of goods sold and related reports
Maintain and analyze balance sheet schedule various inventory accounts
Create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
Inventory data input and some office administrationMinor customer service
emails

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
This position requires a minimum of 1+ years accounting job experience.
Accounting experience within the retail, consumer products, or manufacturing
industry is plus.
You must have Quickbooks software knowledge and experience.
Solid Microsoft Office skills.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems.
