said some colleges look all SAT score, but take the higher score for each
section in all tests. Ask experts here,is that true? He is willing to try
again,but I don't know if it deserves. Thanks for any inputs. |

So there is no difference if you increase by 50 points. Try to improve in
somewhere else other than the score.
If you try to take another test, even if you increase by 100, it would not
increase his chance got accepted by top schools, because his score was
already good enough. |

发帖数: 11693 | 14 中国人过于看重考试成绩，也过于抓考试抓成绩，忽略其他方面的成长。。。哦对了，
小提琴或者钢琴那是要学的，琴房里全是亚洲面孔，小时候必须学一样，长大了孩子如
果说要做musician，又是万万不可以的。我一同学拉小提琴的，从小拉，但人一点音乐
细胞都没有，唱歌也五音不全，就不知道为什么要逼他学这么个东西。。。有句话，人
干自己在行的事才是发光的，不是所有孩子都适合弹钢琴，拉小提琴。。。大学里好多
学生社团里的人在里面象征性的participate一下，也是冲着resume去参与的，打酱油
，还是干不来活，没组织能力，没领导能力，没执行能力。。。 |
