It is so hot in Houston. It a good idea to buy a house with pool?
The advantage is obvious: kids can play water in the long summer.
But: how is the maintenance cost? Will the house decrease value when we sell
the house in the future because of the pool?

Pool carries a risk. Little kids without close supervision can get drowned.
