In April of 1995 Yamaha Corporation entered into a 25-year joint venture
with Pearl River Piano to establish a state-of-the-art $10 million piano
factory in Guangzhou, China.

A. beautiful 7ft. Pearl River grand piano is now being used and displayed in
the recently expanded offices of the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) in Kan-
sas City, Kansas. The placement marks the first time a piano has been
