广告上说programmable比non-programmable省点30%，今年电费都是两百多，心动了，
呵呵。

make much difference with a programmable thermostat either. It's just a lazy
man's good buddy.
what it does is they adjust the set temperature for you. For my case, I set
the temperature to 85F during the day when I am at work, then cool down to
77 at 5PM, then raise to 79 after 11PM, cool down back to 78 after 6:30am,
then back to 85F after 7:30. And I have different schedules for the weekends

famous but more expensive as well.
I bought Hunters 5+1+1 from walmart for $20 something which I am very
satisfied, for the same functions, those Honeywells will cost you around $40
or more.
By the way, 5+1+1 means: one set of program for Monday through Friday, one
set for Saturday and another set for Sunday.
There are also 5+2s too, which shares the same program for Saturday and
Sunday.
Installation is VERY easy. The instructions sheet is more than enough, and
you will need a drill, along with two wood screws & expension screws to put
two (or more) holes in the wall to secure the thermostat.
