发帖数: 179 | 2 In Texas, the landlord is supposed to return your deposit in 30days after
you moved out, unless he gave you a charge bill explaining why he kept your
deposit. So if your landlord did not send you anything explaining the reason
, you can send him a certified mail (best to be certified mail, so you can
use it later at the court) and quote the Texas rental law. He should return
your money soon. |

If I have to go to the small claim court, do I need to provide any evidence?
I really dont want to go this way but this guy kept lying to us and delaying
the payment. I don't want to waste any time and play the hide & seek with
him any more. Just want to get this done asap.
The problem is that we only have his phone number, and I found a PO box
address of him. But we don't know any physical address of his house or his
business. Is that OK?...
