would think you can land a job easily in Houston.
Try Exxon Upstream Research Center, Schlumberger, Baker Hugh, Halliburton,
Transocean,..etc. The list is too long here. You can also check out job
posting on websites like
www.rigzone.com and http://www.oilcareers.com

experience. It is very easy to figure this out just by searching the name
on TAMU's website.

发帖数: 68 | 21 Teodoriu Catalin was my advisor from 2007-2009. he came to TAMU in 2006 as
assistant professor. Then he went back to German in 2009 before finishing
Tenured-track. So Falcone became my advisor from 2009-2010.
So far as I know, none of Teodoriu Catalin's students find a job in USA.
One of master student hold green card or is citizen, but cannot find a job
here. He went to PhD program.

not land a job at this moment.
Contact other professors at TAMU to get recommendations and advice. Contact
your school mates. Tons of them are working in oil and gas field and could
give you better references and guidance than unknowns from internet. And
contact your colleagues from Ryder Scott, etc..
BTW, you need to revise your resume.

salt as I really don't know the details in your background.
1) CAREER OBJECTIVE
Seeking a full-time petroleum engineering position that can fully utilize my
10-year oil and gas industrial experience plus extensive research study to
better manage field performance and enhance company reserve portfolio.
2) Then list your working experience first
You need to emphasis what you have accomplished for the companies – how
much reserve you booked for companies and how your daily work boosted field
production, etc.. The working experience listed in your resume is too plain
with no real content.
3) Then list your skill set and certificates
4) The stuff listed as your accomplishment are quite common ones to me.
Either delete them or add some truly intrigue ones there.
5) List your educational background
6) Your publications
The oil price is still around 90(?). You will land a job if you package
yourself right. |
