去oasis旁边的soleil或者uncle billy's
我觉得salt lick一般，而且前不着村后不着地的，远死了，而且还不如texas road
house好吃呢

发帖数: 243 | 16 Oasis used to allow taking pictures without eating there, but probably no
more. The idea is to watch sunset there, not for the food. During holidays
it used to be so full that no place to park. During the day, you can park at
the church a little down the road to take picture of Lake Travis from the
hill top. Down the hill at the lake there is "cloth optional" park but few
people will be there during winter. The water is clear and we used to see
carps swimming around, and catch carp with corn or other bait. Winter is not
good, otherwise swimming is good option.
Capitol is a must go. You may find free parking depending on time.
From UT campus there is a place you can take picture of congress avenue to
capitol. Campus also has fountain for good picture taking.
San Marcos (20 minutes south of Austin) there is spring with glass bottom
boat and submarine theater where pig swims (not sure if still there). |

发帖数: 243 | 17 6th street is where UT students hang out at night. Weekend and holiday
better. Some activities are related to football etc.
LBJ library is like every ex-president's library, only for taking pictures
outside unless you are into politics. It is in the art section of UT good
for pictures, since the engineering and science sections are not designed
for pictures.
Zilker Park is on the lake (another section of the colorado river) with a
spring fed pool and creek. There is a Japanese garden also. |
