What exactly do I have to do expect for registering with USTA? How to join
the local leagues? How to find a team?
Another question: what are those "Ladders"? How can I join one?

发帖数: 30533 | 2 Find a team first, then the captain will teach you how. Registering
without finding a team first may risk your chance to play matches.
From USTA website you can find the league teams information towards the
middle of December. Then you may find one that's close to you and
direct go there and ask. Or if you know some people's emails that's
even easier.

发帖数: 30533 | 3 Sorry. Just checked your district. Atlanta doesn't have Spring season.
The winter season has already finished. You will need to wait until
next June to join Summer season. This is probably because Atlanta USTA
is played outdoor. Tough luck dude...
This Winter season runs from Sept to Nov. This is the main adult season.
The best team will go to sectional next Summer.
You can still play doubles though next Spring in April time frame.
