there was this match in 1998 where Serena (16) thought she could beat a man.
the german doubles player Karsten Braasch was the opponent (ranked around
320 in the singles at this time) and she lost the 1st set 6-1 and withdraw
completely frustrated from a 2nd set. Braasch commented after the match that
he didn't even serve with full speed, otherwise Serena might have gotten a
bagel.

they don't get as much spin on the ball, so the ball is not nearly as heavy.

发帖数: 479 | 27 小微的发球大多时候也就110多迈，在移动中底线的速度绝对比男子差，关键是女子里
的其他对手回球比她弱，跟男子就更加没法比了，所以绝对小微的失误一定增加。没的
打。再说她的发球对于男子来说就象家常便饭，没有挑战，就算是无敌去接都没什么，
无敌接１２０－１３０的发球也没见被ＡＣＥ很多次.
