If there is nobody else watching, you may have to persuade your

2. He wins the point, provided the racket doesn't touch the net
before the ball bounces twice. There is a youtube video showing
Safin won a controversial point like that (the racket touched
the net almost the same time the ball landed the 2nd time). The
umpire gave him the point to reward his diving effort. |

It is very difficult for the racket to fly over the net without
touching it, when the player didn't do it intentionally. (He usually
has to stretch to reach the ball in order to lose the racket.)
