In this photo, Li Na demonstrates a classic square stance and backswing for
her two-handed backhand. Li's pronounced knee bend will help her legs
contribute upward and forward thrust to her swing, and getting her whole
body lower will help her handle this moderately low ball.
Li Na uses the most common two-handed backhand grip, with her right hand in
a Continental position and her left close to an Eastern forehand position.
Her point of contact in this semi-open stance is excellent, with the racquet
slightly in front of her, its long axis parallel to the ground, and the
ball nearly centered on her strings. Li's eyes are focused a little ahead of
her point of contact; she'll see the ball as it leaves her strings, which
for many players is easier than trying to see the actual point of contact.
When she's well positioned and gets a ball that bounces into her strike zone
, a.k.a. wheelhouse, Li releases an aggressive backhand, with the power of
her forward and upward leg drive lifting her back leg well off the ground.
As we have seen, Li Na uses an strong upward leg drive on all of her major
strokes. Nowhere is that leg drive more important than on the serve, where
it adds to her power and raises her point of contact, giving her a better
angle over the net. Li does an excellent job of fully extending her hitting
arm and keeping her head locked onto her point of contact. | a*****3 发帖数: 10373 | 2 这不是一般的粗,一般的壮!So photos study of Li Na's Muscles?? @_@
